Interior insulation
If the building cannot be insulated from the exterior, for instance due to a heritage-protected facade, it is recommended to implement interior insulation of the exterior walls.
The thermal insulation board Styrodur 2800® is embossed with a honeycomb pattern and features smooth edges for applications in combination with concrete, plaster, and other covering layers, and is thus especially well suited for this type of application.
The interior insulation with Styrodur can be realized with a plaster layer or with drywall siding.
