Concrete parts in brickwork, such as reinforced concrete floors or projecting balconies, create thermal bridges that can be insulated with Styrodur^® for energy efficiency. 

Due to its embossed surface (honeycomb pattern), Styrodur^® 2800 C is particularly well suited for plastering. The insulation boards can be directly placed within the formwork for cast-in-situ concrete construction and can be glued on afterwards.
